Stationery Consultant, Calligrapher & Artist
Lisa has been successfully working in the local wedding industry for the past eight years. Her exceptional understanding of both the logistics and technical requirements behind custom stationery, pairs beautifully with her first-hand experience in the fine arts. Friendly and accommodating, Lisa brings her creativity, knowledge of stationery trends and styles, and sunny personality to this role. She loves working closely with clients to fully develop a vision for their wedding stationery. In addition to her role as stationery consultant with Paper Chain, Lisa also creates many of the custom illustrations and original calligraphy elements of the designs. For the past four years she has also been growing her other business, Scribble and Script, providing original calligraphy services and commissioned artwork to clients looking to add a personal and unique touch to their event. She also teaches modern calligraphy workshops as well as instructs art classes at NSCAD's School of Extended Studies. After having ‘come from away’ (Montreal), Lisa has settled in Halifax's west end with her husband Winston, Aussie puppy Brodie, and feisty cat Sasha.

With over ten years of experience designing custom stationery suites and working as a graphic designer, Rebecca has become a driving force in the wedding invitation industry. She enjoys the challenges that come with making custom design suites and loves working with all the great inspiration clients bring. Luxurious hand made paper in her eyes is a piece of art and a blank canvas that brings her joy like nothing else. A hometown girl from Annapolis Valley, Rebecca studied Graphic Design at Nova Scotia Community College in Halifax, which is where she now calls home with her better half Jordan, and their two kitties. In addition to her work with Paper Chain, she also does freelance graphic design and social media marketing. You will often find her scrolling through Instagram researching upcoming stationery trends and dreaming up what creative projects she will take on next.
